Dr. Elisabeth Dupont is a board-certified surgeon and is the medical director of Breast Health Services at Watson Clinic. Her areas of expertise include the treatment of breast disease, breast-conserving surgery, lymphatic mapping and sentinel node biopsy, mammosite balloon brachytherapy and minimally invasive biopsy techniques. Dr. Dupont is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology, American Society of Breast Disease and many other professional organizations. She has served on the executive committee for the Florida Chapter of the American College of Surgeons and as a board member for the Suncoast Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She received the 2008 “Woman of Distinction” award and the Watson Clinic Foundation Student Research Award and was elected to the Barness/Behnke Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She received a medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, FL, where she graduated with honors and completed an internship and residency in general surgery. She then completed a fellowship in breast surgery at the University of South Florida, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Tampa.
