Dr. Phuc Vo is an orthopedic surgeon at Watson Clinic and chief of orthopedics at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery with a subspecialty certification in sports medicine. Dr. Vo specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery and joint reconstruction, as well as fracture care and repairs of tendon, cartilage and ligaments. He serves as spokesman for Watson Clinic’s Orthopaedic Department and has written numerous articles. Money Magazine named him one of the “Top Doctors” in 2002 and “Top Orthopaedic Surgeons” in 2003 and 2013, and he was included in Connolly’s “Best Physicians in Florida” guide in 2000. The Consumers’ Research Council voted him one of “America’s Top Orthopedists” in 2009. He also served on the faculty at the University of South Florida Department of Orthopaedics. Dr. Vo earned a medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and performed a surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Florida. Dr. Vo also completed a fellowship in joint reconstructive surgery at the University of Florida and a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the University of Pennsylvania Sports Medicine Center.
